Located in the Jember region, East Java, known as one of the rice granaries and organic farming centers in East Java. This area has a wet tropical climate, suitable for intensive and sustainable agriculture.
Land Characteristics:
● Flat and extensive rice fields, supported by a technical irrigation system from large river channels, ensuring water supply is maintained throughout the planting season.
● Dominant soil type is fertile, loose alluvial soil, rich in nutrients, very suitable for organic rice production.
● Implementation of certified organic farming systems, using compost, manure, and botanical pesticides.
● Rice fields are separated by embankments planted with refugia plants as homes for natural predators that control pests.
● Some rice field plots are near mixed gardens (vegetables, corn, secondary crops) to maintain crop rotation and soil fertility.

● Harvesting activities are often done together, followed by post-harvest processing at residents' homes.
